[포지션명] Manufacturing Engineering Lead (ASAP) [담당 업무] - Direct supervisory responsibility for Managers, Engineers, Technicians, and contract staff.Responsible for OMTA wide departments, projects, or initiatives. - Conduct regular department with staff to resolve issues, maintain engagement/focus, and share updates on project and activities. - Drive TPS/Lean Manufacturing efforts on legacy product lines. - Support the production line with continuous improvements, including line layout. - Evaluate all available internal and external technologies including manufacturing equipment, and Materials. Select and implement appropriate technologies that result in lower manufacturing cost, lower process variability and higher manufacturing capability. - Prioritizes and manages execution of multiple departmental for the production phase products. - Oversees selection of manufacturing processes that meet business goals - Provides engineering resources in support all necessary projects and activities. - Own and drive all operations and process risk management documentation. - Member of Site Leadership Team responsible for overall budget and Site performance [자격 요건] - B.S. degree in Engineering or Physics, or equivalent. An advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in any of these fields is strongly preferred. - Minimum of 10+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of successful product development within a regulated product development environment. - Minimum of 5+ years of management experience with multiple direct reports. - Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting bringing products from conception through market release and beyond. A record of commercialized products for volume production is required. - Expertise with the development of complex and precision mechanical or opto-mechanical devices, and electronic medical devices. - Experience partnering with external suppliers for the development of new processes and technologies as demonstrated with commercialized products. - Good team leader and manager, wide technical knowledge base, with above average problem analysis skills - Able to think both logically and creatively and possess sound reporting abilities. - Working knowledge of core engineering tools. For example: 6-sigma, FMEA, Risk Analysis, Process Mapping, Standard Work Instructions, Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Work Instruction Creation, DOE methods, Process Characterization, Verification & Validation activities. - Demonstrated project management techniques and approaches.
